2024-2027 Progress report

Approved by Council in 2023, this plan became the guiding force behind our work, making sure that each initiative and project has a goal of improving our community for the over 150,000 residents and businesses that call Guelph home.“

Secured $60,907,300 in grant funding, a 167 per cent increase from 2023.

$60.9 million grant funding secured in 2024

Contributed 274 hectares of City-owned land to protect 30 per cent of Canada’s land and water by 2030.

Guelph’s commitment to conservation

Council approved the Housing Affordability Strategy to make homes more affordable.

Funded 36 projects with $60,000 through the Activating Community Microgrant program to strengthen our community through innovation, art and action.

Empowering Guelph

Council approved the Indigenous Relations Framework, reaffirming our commitment to reconciliation.

The plan focuses on what matters most to the community—like housing, affordability, the environment, the economy, and quality of life.
